Sharing The Virtues Of Eid, Petrokimia Gresik and Soes Depart for Free Annual Groups Of ‘Mudik’ Or Homecoming

Petrokimia Gresik, The Agroindustrial Solutions company holding member of the Pupuk Indonesia, dispatched four buses of the "Mudik Bersama BUMN 2023" program to four routes in East Java. The bus with a total capacity of 200 passengers was symbolically departed directly by the President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo from SOR Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gresik, Wednesday (19/4).

"Petrokimia Gresik received instructions from the Minister of SOEs, Mr. Erick Thohir to organize a free homecoming or knows as mudik in Indonesia. This activity is simultaneously carried out by all SOEs in Indonesia, "said Dwi Satriyo.

The four homecoming buses provided by Petrokimia Gresik departed for four routes, namely Malang-Blitar, Kediri-Tulungagung, Bojonegoro-Ngawi, and Nganjuk-Madiun. Each department has a capacity of 50 seats.

‘Mudik’ or homecoming is a unique tradition in Indonesia. The homecoming moment is awaited by the Indonesian people every year. The government has also made many preparations so that this year's homecoming runs smoothly and safely, ranging from toll roads to road repairs.

"Participants by participating in this free homecoming have contributed so that this year's homecoming implementation is not jammed, because it helps reduce traffic congestion, by not driving alone. The Ministry of SOEs expressed its gratitude for the support of this community," said Dwi Satriyo.

Meanwhile, Eka Pratitis, one of the homecoming participants, admitted that they chose to take part in this Mudik with BUMN because it was considered safer and more comfortable. According to Eka, going home together is also more fun because, among the homecoming participants, many have known each other.

"Usually when I go back to Blitar, I have to go to Surabaya first. Meanwhile, if you go home together, you can go directly to Blitar from Gresik, faster. Of course, here I also feel more comfortable because the bus is not crowded," said Eka.

In addition to the opportunity for free homecoming, homecoming participants with the theme "Mudik Dinanti, Mudik di Hati" also get several facilities such as t-shirts and goodie bags containing souvenirs and snacks.

"Hopefully homecoming activities can be carried out again next year because this activity makes a real contribution in realizing safety, order, and smooth homecoming," concluded Dwi Satriyo.
