The application of K3 Always be attempted in various work programs to reach Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE) Excellent” as supporting factor for the implementation of “Operational Excellent” at PT Petrokimia Gresik.

The commitment from the top managements in applying Safety and Health working system is decanted through integrated management system in the form of “PT Petrokimia Gresik Management System Policy”. Below are the details of management system policy of the company.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY OF PT PETROKIMIA GRESIK

PT Petrokimia Gresik has its commitment to produce highly competitive fertilizers and other chemical materials. It is also intended to fill consumers’ interest through leading and sustainable working performance. Further, the company also implements various systems such as Quality Management System, Environment Management System, Integrated Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) with its commitment to:

Managing, repairing and protecting continuously to prevent the impact of significant pollution environment by the reduction of conventional emission pollution and emission of greenhouse gas (GRK), efficiency of water and reduction of waste water pollution, reduction and utilization of Hazardous and Toxic Substances (B3), reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) solid waste non B3, waste utilization and protection of biodiversity.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER UNIT

Fire Extinguisher Unit of PT Petrokimia Gresik possesses a duty to both identify and mitigate fire risk potentials, providing and doing regular probe to its equipments, covering the whole area of the company. Second, it also has a duty to enroll K3 education and training on how to prevent and overcome fire occurrence towards all employees and its affiliations of PT Petrokimia Gresik. In addition, this unit becomes the center of Rescue and Response Team of PT Petrokimia.

As part of Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR) and its awareness toward neighboring society, Fire team, Rescue and Response Team of PT Petrokimia Gresik are ready to dedicate them to help on every emergency within radius at about 5 kilometers from the company.
