Petrokimia Gresik Receives Appreciation From The Regency Of Gresik For Paying Property Tax (PBB) On Time

Petrokimia Gresik, a member of the Pupuk Indonesia Holding Agroindustrial Solutions company, received an award from the Regent of Gresik, Fandi Akhmad Yani, for the compliance in paying Property Tax (PBB) for the year 2023 in the Gresik District, on Thursday (12/14/2023).

The President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo, expressed gratitude to the Regent of Gresik for the appreciation that has been given to Petrokimia Gresik, especially the award given for the company's responsibility in paying PBB. He assured that Petrokimia Gresik will continue to be committed to the progress of the Gresik District.

"We realize that the smooth operation of the company's business for over half a century is inseparable from the support of the District Government and the community. Therefore, we ensure that we will always move forward together," he emphasized.

Meanwhile, the Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Petrokimia Gresik, Adityo Wibowo, added that Petrokimia Gresik occupies an area of ​​more than 550 hectares (Ha) and is located in three sub-districts, namely Gresik, Kebomas, and Manyar, so the existence of Petrokimia Gresik must benefit the Gresik community.

"Petrokimia Gresik is committed to contributing to the Gresik community. This award is a form of appreciation from the Gresik District Government to Petrokimia Gresik for paying taxes before the deadline," said Adit, Adityo Wibowo's nickname.

He ensured that this award motivates Petrokimia Gresik to always comply with tax payments. Because taxes will eventually return to the Gresik community through development.

Furthermore, he explained that in addition to property tax, Petrokimia Gresik also contributes through various fees. In the 2022 period, Petrokimia Gresik contributed by paying fees amounting to Rp 8.1 billion. Meanwhile, in 2023, Petrokimia Gresik has also paid taxes and fees amounting to Rp 27.4 billion.

"These figures are Petrokimia Gresik's obligations during the process of obtaining Building Permits (IMB) for several buildings and Building Approval (PBG)," he clarified.

In addition, continued Adit, Petrokimia Gresik's contribution can also be seen from the realization of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) for the Gresik community. In 2022, Petrokimia Gresik held an Environmental Development program for the Gresik community amounting to Rp 9.5 billion.

Furthermore, in 2023 until November, it amounted to Rp 11.3 billion. All of which were realized through sectors such as education; health; environmental preservation; assistance in facilities and infrastructure, including places of worship, social activities, basic food assistance, and others.

"This contribution serves as evidence that the existence of Petrokimia Gresik must continue to be beneficial to the Gresik community," he concluded.
