Petrokimia Gresik & Gresik District Government Collaborate In Reclaimed Land Utilization

Petrokimia Gresik, a member of the Pupuk Indonesia Holding Agroindustrial Solutions company, together with the Gresik District Government (Pemkab Gresik), synergize for the acceleration of reclaimed land utilization agreement. This solution was obtained following a meeting between Petrokimia Gresik and the Gresik District Government, held in Gresik, East Java, on Friday (12/15).

The Head of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency (PMPTSP) of the Gresik District Government, Agung Endro Dwi Setyo Utomo, representing the Regent of Gresik, Fandi Akhmad Yani, conveyed that the fees to be paid by Petrokimia Gresik will be managed by the Gresik District Government for the progress of the Gresik community. Therefore, he hopes for synergy between Petrokimia Gresik and the Gresik District Government in finding solutions for reclaimed land utilization payment. "Let's synergize, let's accelerate," he concluded briefly.

Meanwhile, the Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Petrokimia Gresik, Adityo Wibowo, representing the President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, revealed that Petrokimia Gresik has been established for 51 years and has become part of the Gresik community and the Gresik District Government. Petrokimia Gresik is also committed to actively contributing to all entities in the Gresik District.

"Petrokimia Gresik is always committed to contributing to the progress of the Gresik District and its community. We have also been compliant in paying taxes, including property tax (PBB), which fortunately received appreciation from the Regent of Gresik yesterday. Thus, in this reclaimed land utilization, our commitment remains the same," he clarified.

Currently, according to Adit (Adityo Wibowo's nickname), Petrokimia Gresik and the Gresik District Government have submitted a request to the East Java Regional Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP Jatim) to review the utilization fee tariff.

"In addition to Petrokimia Gresik's performance being monitored by various parties, we also implement the principles of Good Corporate Governance in various company actions, so all activities must have clear foundations. Therefore, regarding this land utilization, Petrokimia Gresik and the Gresik District Government together submit a review to BPKP Jatim to provide input," he reiterated.
