First in Indonesia, PG and National Police Signed MoU

PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesian National Police (Polri). The MoU was signed together between PG President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, and Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources, Inspector General Dr. Eko Indra Heri S, M.M at Wisma Kebomas on Friday (3/22/2019).

This collaboration is aimed to upsurge company’s operational security for continuous provision of National Fertilizers, as well as its development towards Agro-Industry Solutions. Besides, this mutual work is also dedicated for securing the corporate information data, law enforcement, legal assistance, and increasing human resources capacity.

PG Director, Rahmad Pribadi, conveyed that PG security requires special approaches since it is a National Vital Object located in the middle of community. PG, known as the most complete fertilizer company in Indonesia, member of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) Holding Company, is responsible to support the Government in realizing national food sovereignty.

"PG is committed to develop along with the community. So far, we have been mutually working with East Java Police Department regarding with security issues. This memorandum of understanding must be followed up immediately since it gives benefits for both parties", said Mr President Director.

Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S revealed that the MoU with Petrokimia Gresik would be the first in Indonesia, and was the initial step for Police Department in establishing cooperation with other companies.

"In the 4.0 industrial era, we cannot stand by ourselves, we must cooperate with stakeholders and the community. This is part of partnership. Collaboration that is ought to be mutually beneficial, adding values to serve the communities truly", he concluded. Hartono
