The closing celebration of 2019 National K3 Month in PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) was officially carried out by PG President Director, Rahmad Pribadi. This celebration which began in January 2019 was also together with the launching of Petro Virtual Sport (PVS) and Viral 500K. The event taking place at Wisma Kebomas (03/05/19) was attended by all PG Directors, as well as more than a thousand participants, both PG employees, subsidiaries and contractors.
The event series began with walking exercise and ended with the prizes awarding for K3 Month race winners.
PG President Director, Rahmad Pribadi revealed that PG's commitment to the K3 implementation was a support to Government in realizing "Independence of K3 Cultured Indonesian Society in 2020". This active support was proven by the achievement of PG's safety culture, whose score was continuing to increase, from 4.30 in 2017 to 4.55 in 2018.
"Our target in 2020 is to achieve five point or perfect target", President Director said. "This is a tough task for PG, but this target should not be a burden, but it must be interpreted as a positive challenge to achieve company performance without any work accidents", he continued.
Regarding with Petro Virtual Sport (PVS) and Viral 500K launching, PG President Director hoped that, with sports, employees’ health could be better, therefore they could work optimally. The creation of a healthy culture and K3 culture could support the implementation of business transformation towards company for Solution of Agroindustry, and to support the realisation of National Food Sovereignty programme.
