Achieve Anti-Bribery Management System Certificate, Petrokimia Gresik Implementing Four Principles of “NO”

PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) succeeded got Anti-Bribery Management System Certificate SNI ISO 37001:2016. This certificate is published by Certification Agency namely PT ASR International Indonesia Certification (ASRICERT Indonesia) and is valid for 3 (three) years from 1 July 2020.

This certificate is a commitment of Petrokimia Gresik in optimizing the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in running the company business.

President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Rahmad Pribadi, on Monday (13/7/20) appreciated the support of all employees of Petrokimia Gresik and stakeholders to the clean and integrated company in Petrokimia Gresik.

Rahmad conveyed that the application of this certificate could foster an anti-bribery culture in the company, thus creating an advantage compared to competitors. The Anti-Bribery Management System can minimize the potential for financial losses, so that business processes in the company will be more efficient, and can increase competitiveness for Petrokimia Gresik products. This facilitates joint efforts to make Petrokimia Gresik a market leader and dominant player in the agroindustry sector.

"Thus, the company's good reputation and stakeholder's trust in Petrokimia Gresik as an agroindustry solution for holding members of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) are expected to increase," Rahmad said

Rahmad revealed that the Anti-Bribery Management System certificate was also a follow-up to the implementation of the SOE Ministry's policy in creating an anti-corruption ecosystem. The Anti-Bribery Management System will assist Petrokimia Gresik in preventing unlawful bribery and legal risk control. With Anti-Bribery Management System, it is expected that the potential for unlawful actions can be minimized.

As a follow up to the implementation of Anti-Bribery Management System, the company will run the business based on 4 NO's, namely No Bribery (no bribes), No Kickback (no commissions), No Gifts (no unreasonable gifts), and No Luxurious Hospitality (no excessive meals). To support the application of NO 4's principle, management applies a policy of no tolerance to violators, and prepares a reporting system to facilitate the detection of violations.

"This principle has been agreed upon by all Directors and Commissioners in Petrokimia Gresik, so that the application will be applied thoroughly without exception," Rahmad said.

Petrokimia Gresik also continues to make efforts to improve and increase each business process in line with the principle of integrity. Petrokimia Gresik's management ensures that each work unit evaluates and controls bribery risk. Each work unit leader must continue to map the potential for bribery.
