PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) held a Tasyakuran for Production Performance of 2018 in the area of Warehouse II, Department of Production IIB, December 28th, 2018. The events included prayers as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT for PG performance achievement during 2018. The prayers is attended by the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors and PG employees, as well as around 100 orphans from Tlogopojok, Lumpur and Roomo. It was led by KH. Khusnan Ali.
PG Production Director, I Ketut Rusnaya, said that the success we have achieved in 2018 must become an inspiration for the success in 2019. Production Director reminded that the good will and sincerity should be always our work basis, therefore every problem we face would get guidance and help from God The Almighty.
PG President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, said that the overall achievement of production performance during 2018 was quite able to be proud of. "Let us evaluate our performance in 2018, and set it as a fundamental reference in motivating our work in the following years, so that it could be even better", The President Director said.
"Success must be thanked, and it should not make us forget and stuck in a success trap which has a detrimental effect", he continued.
As a producer of various types of fertilizers and chemicals for agroindustry solutions, PG always strives to increase its products' added value, so those are still accepted and interested by markets, both domestic and foreign. The President Director reminded all directorates in PG that in 2019, the challenges which will be faced would be even more difficult, since those are included in the implementation of the transformation programme.
"The essence of transformation is not to repeat the past successes, but to create a new better future. With transformation, we hope to maintain sustainable success", PG President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, said.
Meanwhile, PG Commissioner, Mahmud Nurwindu, advised that the performance achievement in 2018 could become PG's momentum to be more focused on facing more complex challenges in 2019, so that the targets set by shareholders can be achieved better. Mahmud also reminded that in our struggle, we always pray, because a success is never separated from the help of God Almighty.
As a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) which has a strategic role in supporting the government programs in the field of National Food Security, PG must be prepared to create the new success for a better Indonesia.
In his tausiyah (religious talks), KH. Khusnan Ali said that the new success can be realized if we always thank Allah SWT. By realizing wholeheartedly that the success that we achieve is not merely the result of our professional work, but also by the guidance, help and grace of Allah SWT.
