Ahead Of Eid Al-Fitr 1444h, Petrokimia Gresik Shares More Than 12,500 Food Packages for the Community Around The Company

Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions and holding company member of the Pupuk Indonesia ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1444H, distributed 12,540 food packages worth Rp1.3 billion to the community around the company. Symbolically, the aid was handed over directly by the President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo to the recipient representative at the Kroman Village Office, Gresik, East Java, (13/4).

Dwi Satriyo said that, as a company that grows in the community, Petrokimia Gresik is committed through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program to be able to provide benefits for the community around the company. One of the TJSL activities is realized through social community assistance in the form of necessities.

"Coinciding with the month of Ramadan 1444 H as well as welcoming Eid al-Fitr, we want to create warmth with the community around the company through the distribution of necessities to the surrounding community company. This activity is also part of a series of celebrations for the 51st Anniversary of Petrokimia Gresik," said Dwi Satriyo.

The basic food packages distributed by Petrokimia Gresik consist of 5 kilograms of rice and 1 liter of oil. The aid was distributed to villages/villages around the company, including Roomo Village, Kel. Tlogopojok, Lumpur, Karangturi, Karangpoh, Sukorame, Kroman and Kel. Ngipik

In distributing necessities, the company coordinates with each village to collect data on aid recipients so that it is hoped that this assistance is right for those in need.

In the same place, Gresik Sub-District, Arip Wicaksono expressed his gratitude regarding the sustainable care for the Gresik community. According to him, TJSL is a form of alms from the company, therefore through this assistance, he hopes that the company will be more advanced and bring prosperity to the people of Gresik.

"So far, Petrokimia Gresik cares about the community around the company. The activity is not only this, many other activities carried out by Petrokimia Gresik directly touch the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Istiqomah (44) a resident of Lumpur as a recipient of aid admitted that she was happy to be able to receive necessities from Petrokimia Gresik. This assistance is very helpful for the community in welcoming Eid al-Fitr so that it is more festive.

"Basic food assistance from Petrokimia Gresik is very often given to the community around the company. Every year there is and I always get. Hopefully, the assistance can be routine, "said Istiqomah.

Finally, Dwi Satriyo added, Petrokimia Gresik is a neighbor of the community. For this reason, he asked for support, especially now that Petrokimia Gresik is developing a factory to support national food security.
