The Cooperation of PMMB Must be Implemented Concretely

PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) signed again the Cooperation Agreement for Certified Student Internship Program (PMMB) in 2020. This time the cooperation was with Politeknik Negeri Lampung, and 6 (six) Agricultural Development Polytechnic (Polbangtan) Scope of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture. The six Polbangtan are from Malang, Manokwari Papua, Medan, Yogya-Magelang (Yoma), Gowa South Sulawesi, and Bogor. The signing was carried out by Human Resource General Manager of Petrokimia Gresik (GM SDM PG), Nanang together with each official representing the seven institutions. The signing was witnessed by Finance, HR, and General Affairs Director of PG, Dwi Ary Purnomo, and General Affairs General Manager (GM Umum) of PG, Agung Setiya Budhi. PMMB is a competency development program to make advance Human Resources who have character.

GM SDM PG, Nanang conveyed that Petrokimia Gresik already did PMMB in 2019 which was followed by 46 student from 12 Universities in Indonesia. For PMMB in 2020 will started in February 2020. The participants of PMMB 2020 will be placed in sales area and will be taught by Regional Sales Representative Staff (SPDP) of PG over Indonesia. This chance was aimed to give insight for participants and related to field activities, and solution that must be done to the issues that might be appearing.

Finance, Human Resources, and General Affairs Director of PG, Dwi Ary Purnomo said that this PMMB is a contribution of Petrokimia Gresik to the Government in supporting towards Gold Indonesia. According to Dwi, this PMMB is a blessing for Petrokimia Gresik which is running business transformation towards agroindustry solution company now, and because it is aimed to make advance Human Resources is very important for Indonesia, especially in agriculture and agroindustry sector to realize national food security.

“Through this cooperation (Petrokimia Gresik with Politeknik and Polbangtan), In Syaa Allah we can develop the agriculture and agroindustry better. Advance human resources will able to compete with competitor from abroad,” said Dwi.

Dwi hopes that this cooperation is not only a signing on paper, but it must be carried out concretely so that it can benefit us all.

The PMMB MoU signing was held in Wisma Kebomas PG (13/12/2019) and there this event was also held a discussion to explore the potential and other opportunities to be followed up. Hartono
