President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo was opening a Viral Day in the framework of National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Month celebration Petrokimia Gresik, Friday (5/3/2021).
Dwi Satriyo explained that fitness is not only important for health, but also able to build creativity of Petrokimia Gresik employee in working. So, health is not enough, because body also must fit.
“Viral Day is our effort to fit our body, so that the employee of Petrokimia Gresik have positive energy, for themselves and other, especially with the working partner,” said Dwi Satriyo.
Viral Day is a joint sports program, namely running and cycling which was done by employee of Petrokimia Gresik virtually. This activity is recorded in Strava application.
Dwi Satriyo conveyed that exercise utilizing Strava application in Petrokimia Gresik until February 2021 reach 998 participants, and this Strava increase the level of fit to work in Petrokimia Gresik as much as 6 percent.
“Empirical, this activity is contribute to company business process” said him.
Moreover, Dwi Satriyo explained that Viral Day is an opening of National OHS Month in Petrokimia Gresik. He expect all of that his team in Petrokimia Gresik can compete well in the competition that will be held.
“I hope that the teams in each department are prepared as well as possible to take part in the OHS Month competition. Because our representatives are representatives of the departments where we work," he said.
The event which was centered at Wisma Kebomas Petrokimia Gresik was held physically (offline) and virtual (online) through the zoom meeting application. For offline activities, it is carried out in a limited number and by implementing strict health protocols. (*/Hartono)
