Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions company and a member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding company, has once again achieved success in Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) by winning the Top Platinum Trophy 2026 at the Top CSR Awards 2026. This award was given after Petrokimia Gresik successfully maintained its TOP CSR #Stars 5 title for five consecutive years, recognizing the company's consistency in implementing TJSL programs that have a real impact, are sustainable, and align with the company's business strategy.
In recognition of this commitment, Petrokimia Gresik's President Director, Daconi Khotob, also received the Top Leader on CSR Commitment 2026 award for his leadership in strengthening TJSL implementation that benefits the community, the environment, and the company's sustainability.
Daconi expressed his gratitude for the recognition given to Petrokimia Gresik. He stated that this award is the result of the collaborative work of all Petrokimia Gresik employees in delivering various innovative TJSL programs that sustainably support the company's business strategy in its efforts to achieve national food self-sufficiency.
"For us, this award motivates us to continue strengthening the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) through sustainable, innovative CSR programs that create shared value for both the community and the company," said Daconi in Gresik, East Java, on Tuesday (June 2, 2026).
He explained that Petrokimia Gresik's various CSR programs focus on strengthening community welfare, environmental preservation, improving education quality, economic empowerment, and supporting the agricultural sector and national food security. All programs are designed to have a real, measurable, and sustainable impact, both for the communities surrounding the company's operational areas and nationally.
"We package our programs in an inspiring way so that they can be developed by other stakeholders, so that their benefits can reach a wider audience," he added.
In its implementation, Petrokimia Gresik prioritizes the principle of Creating Shared Value (CSV), namely creating shared value that benefits the community while supporting the company's business sustainability. With this approach, CSR is not only a form of corporate social responsibility but also an integral part of its sustainable business strategy.
One of Petrokimia Gresik's main focuses on CSR is community empowerment based on local potential. The company actively supports community groups, MSMEs, farmers, fishermen, and the younger generation through various training, coaching, and business development programs to enable them to grow independently and become competitive.
