A total of 26 personnel from PT Petrokimia Gresik (Persero), an Agroindustrial Solutions company and member of the PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) holding, engaged directly in the Ajang Kolaborasi Seluruh Insan (AKSI / All Personnel Collaboration Forum) 2026 program organized by Pupuk Indonesia Group on October 12–16, 2026, in Bulutana Village, Tinggimoncong Sub-district, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. Through this program, employees collaborated with other Pupuk Indonesia Group personnel to support community empowerment across agriculture, education, social, and environmental sectors.

Human Resources and General Affairs Director of Pupuk Indonesia, Tina T. Kemala Intan, stated that AKSI 2026 is not merely an annual agenda, but rather part of the company's strategy to foster closer relationships with communities and stakeholders. The program serves as a cross-unit collaboration platform inviting Pupuk Indonesia Group employees to plunge directly into the field to make tangible contributions through community empowerment activities.

“AKSI participants come not just carrying work programs, but bearing the spirit of service, caring, and mutual cooperation to deliver real benefits for the community. Use this momentum to listen, learn, contribute, and leave a sustainable footprint of kindness for the people of Bulutana,” said Tina.

Meanwhile, Finance and General Affairs Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Adityo Wibowo, in Gresik, Sunday (18/10/2026), expressed that employee participation in AKSI 2026 forms part of the company's efforts to develop human resources who are not only professionally excellent, but also possess social awareness and the ability to collaborate with communities. According to him, the experience of engaging directly with the community provides employees an opportunity to develop empathy, sensitivity to surrounding environmental needs, and a spirit of contributing tangibly.

“Through AKSI 2026, we aim to encourage Petrokimia Gresik personnel to not only grow in terms of professional competence, but also to possess social concern and responsibility. The presence of our 26 employees in the community offers an opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and understand firsthand how their contributions can deliver benefits to the public,” said Adityo.

AKSI 2026 is a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program of Pupuk Indonesia Group involving 100 selected employees from various companies within the group, including 26 participants from Petrokimia Gresik. During the execution of the program, participants stayed with local residents to get to know community life while collaborating on various empowerment activities tailored to local needs.

In agriculture, AKSI 2026 presented agricultural education, irrigation rehabilitation, provision of agricultural infrastructure and facilities, support for harvest storage warehouses, as well as the introduction of family medicinal plants to students. These activities are expected to help the community optimize agricultural potential productively and sustainably.

Meanwhile, in education, the program encompassed knowledge-sharing and motivation sessions for students, alongside facility support including reading corners, School Health Unit (UKS) rooms, and sports equipment. In the social sector, activities included free health check-ups, free circumcisions, and public facility support for the community.

In the environmental sector, participants contributed through tree planting activities and waste management education to increase community awareness regarding the importance of preserving nature.

One of the Petrokimia Gresik employees participating in AKSI 2026, Wiki Renedi, revealed that the experience of living and engaging alongside residents provided a new perspective on community life, while serving as an opportunity to learn about togetherness and local wisdom.

“Usually we work toward our respective targets and responsibilities within the company. Here, we learned to see life from a different perspective. We came to share and help, but it turns out there was so much we actually learned from the community, especially regarding their togetherness and spirit in facing various challenges,” said Wiki.

The presence of AKSI 2026 participants also received a warm welcome from local residents. One resident of Bulutana Village, Mrs. Nuraeni DG. Sugi, appreciated the involvement of participants who not only conducted empowerment activities, but also mingled and interacted directly with the community.

“We are happy because the participants did not just come carrying activities, but were also willing to stay, blend in, and listen to the stories of the people here. Our hope is that what has been done together can remain beneficial, especially in supporting agricultural activities and daily resident needs,” expressed Mrs. Nuraeni.

Adityo added that employee involvement in social activities such as AKSI 2026 forms an essential component of building a corporate culture oriented toward collaboration and social impact. The experience of interacting directly with the community is expected to shape the character of Petrokimia Gresik personnel to be more adaptive, caring, and capable of understanding the needs of various stakeholders.

“For us, the success of human resource development is measured not only by working capability and performance achievement, but also by character and concern for the social environment. We hope the AKSI 2026 experience will reinforce these values within every participant, while delivering sustainable benefits for the community,” Adityo concluded.
