37th Petrokimia Gresik Innovation Convention (KIPG): Petrokimia Gresik's 2022 Innovations Generate Added Value of Rp277 Billion With 91 Percent Employee Participation

Petrokimia Gresik, a leading Agroindustry Solution company and a proud member of the Pupuk Indonesia, has successfully generated additional value amounting to IDR 277.9 billion through its innovative initiatives throughout the year 2022. This accomplishment was revealed by the President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo, during the 37th Petrokimia Gresik Innovation Convention (KIPG) held at GOR Tri Dharma on Wednesday, June 7.

Dwi Satriyo expressed that out of this value creation, IDR 67.9 billion, or nearly 25 percent, directly impacted the company's profits, signifying a substantial direct financial benefit. The magnitude of this value creation serves as evidence that the innovations driven by the employees of Petrokimia Gresik have contributed to the continuous growth of the company.

"As the market competition becomes increasingly fierce, and technological advancements continue to bring about systemic changes, Petrokimia Gresik must remain adaptive. Therefore, all employees of Petrokimia Gresik must think innovatively to propel the company to grow and surpass its maximum limits," emphasized Dwi Satriyo.

He further highlighted that this value creation was the result of the involvement of 91 percent of innovative employees throughout 2022, who were part of 1,599 Innovation Groups. The employee engagement in innovation has increased compared to the previous year, which stood at around 81%, involving 1,158 innovation groups. This serves as a testament to the growing and ingrained spirit of innovation within every individual at Petrokimia Gresik.

"Present-day competition is not visible, as the current business competition revolves around ideas and creativity—how businesses can lead by driving the market. All of this can only be won through innovation," emphasized Dwi Satriyo.

Petrokimia Gresik's innovations in 2022 achieved various recognitions, including winning eleven Diamonds, the highest award at the National Quality and Productivity Workshop (TKMPN) 2022, six Platinums, and two Golds. Additionally, Petrokimia Gresik and Petrokimia Gresik Group also received five "4STARS" awards at the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) 2022 International event.

"We hope that the exceptional employee involvement in innovation this year will further increase next year, making Petrokimia Gresik even more prepared to face challenges," concluded Dwi Satriyo.
