BERKAT INOVASI BERWAWASAN LINGKUNGAN, PETROKIMIA GRESIK DINOBATKAN SEBAGAI "THE BEST IGA 2026"

Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions company and a member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding company, received the title "The Best IGA 2026" for its innovations deemed to align with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This distinction was achieved after Petrokimia Gresik earned the Platinum Alignment award in five categories at the 2026 Indonesia Green Awards (IGA).

The award was received by Petrokimia Gresik's Vice President (VP) for Environment, Bagus Eka Saputra, representing Petrokimia Gresik's President Director, Daconi Khotob, in Jakarta recently. Separately, Daconi expressed his gratitude for Petrokimia Gresik's efforts in implementing ESG principles in its business operations, which have received appreciation from stakeholders.

"As an environmentally conscious company, Petrokimia Gresik consistently considers the environment in all its policies and innovations. This commitment is the company's strategy to support the smooth fulfillment of domestic fertilizer needs," Daconi concluded.

Petrokimia Gresik won five award categories at the 2026 IGA: Water Resources Conservation, Energy-Saving and Renewable Energy Technology Engineering, Biodiversity Development, Pioneering Pollution Prevention, and Integrated Waste Management.

"Petrokimia Gresik recognizes that corporate responsibility extends beyond producing quality products for Indonesian agriculture. Petrokimia Gresik also understands that environmental management is a crucial instrument for enhancing business competitiveness, especially at the international level," he said.

Therefore, Daconi assured that this award will not make Petrokimia Gresik complacent. Instead, the company will further improve its environmental management standards, especially given Petrokimia Gresik's strategic role in supporting sustainable food self-sufficiency.

"Petrokimia Gresik's efforts to achieve national food self-sufficiency must continue to uphold environmental management, while prioritizing aspects of sustainable agriculture," Daconi concluded.
