Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions company and a member of the Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) holding company, once again held PetroNite Fest 2026, which officially opened on Saturday (June 27, 2026) at the Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gresik Sports Facility (SOR). This event involved 670 tenants, predominantly MSMEs, as part of the company's commitment to expanding promotional access, strengthening the MSME ecosystem, and encouraging local economic growth.
Petrokimia Gresik's Director of Finance and General Affairs, Adityo Wibowo, stated after the opening that this event represents the company's real contribution to driving the people's economy and strengthening the competitiveness of local MSMEs in commemoration of Petrokimia Gresik's 54th anniversary.
"PetroNite Fest provides a space for MSMEs to develop, expand their markets, and provide direct economic benefits to the community," said Adit, Adityo Wibowo's nickname.
He explained that this year's PetroNite Fest will feature 670 tenants, consisting of 558 street vendors (PKL), 73 outdoor VIP booths, and 39 indoor VIP booths, which will operate until July 5, 2026. All tenants are also encouraged to use QRIS to strengthen the digital-based business ecosystem, making transactions easier, faster, safer, and more convenient.
In addition, Petrokimia Gresik is involving 12 tenants under its CSR program, as well as the surrounding Karang Taruna (youth organization) who are entrusted with managing the parking area during the event. Last year's PetroNite Fest recorded an economic turnover of around IDR 10 billion with a total of 319,000 visitors.
"We want MSMEs to not only grow in number but also upgrade their business ecosystem. Therefore, this year we are encouraging all tenants to use QRIS to make transactions easier, faster, safer, and more convenient, while also supporting the acceleration of the digital economy in Gresik Regency," said Adit.
The Deputy Regent of Gresik, Asluchul Alif, expressed his appreciation for Petrokimia Gresik's consistent commitment to supporting the development of MSMEs and strengthening synergy with the Gresik Regency Government in various community empowerment programs.
"So far, Petrokimia Gresik has also provided significant support for the advancement of MSMEs, including supporting various Gresik Regency Government programs related to MSME development," he concluded.
He encouraged the public to take advantage of the PetroNite Fest by purchasing and using local MSME products as a form of support for regional economic growth. The Deputy Regent also expressed his hope that Petrokimia Gresik would continue to grow, thus increasing its contribution to MSME development and the welfare of the Gresik community.
"For more than five decades, Petrokimia Gresik has been a source of pride for the people of Gresik. Not only does it play a role as a national strategic company supporting food security, but it is also a vital partner of the Gresik Regency Government in developing the regional economy, particularly MSMEs," he concluded.
