Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions company and a member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding company, won two awards in the Best CEO and Corporate categories at the 15th Annual BUMN Awards 2026. The awards were received by Petrokimia Gresik's President Director, Daconi Khotob, in Jakarta recently.
The awards included Best CEO Visionary Leadership, which was awarded to Daconi Khotob, President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, for his ability to deliver innovation and sustainable long-term strategies for the company's growth. Petrokimia Gresik also received the Best Corporate Growth Strategy award.
"We express our gratitude for the appreciation shown by stakeholders for the hard work of Petrokimia Gresik's employees in innovation. This award recognizes the company's success in implementing its long-term business strategy. This aligns with management's commitment to always adhere to the best vision to maintain the company's competitiveness in the future," said Daconi after receiving the award.
He further stated that Petrokimia Gresik is committed to contributing to the advancement of Indonesian agriculture and the domestic chemical industry. To achieve this goal, the company is implementing various sustainable business development strategies.
These strategies include developing a fertilizer production line to support national food security, developing related chemical products in line with the government's program to encourage industrial downstreaming, and developing new factories and upgrading existing factories and facilities.
In line with this strategy, Petrokimia Gresik is also preparing several strategic projects to strengthen production capacity. Through these steps, the company seeks to increase the competitiveness of the national fertilizer industry while strengthening its contribution to supporting Indonesian food security.
"In addition to strengthening its core fertilizer business to support the national food security program, Petrokimia Gresik is also developing various medium- and long-term strategic projects," he concluded.
Daconi added that, in addition to business aspects, Petrokimia Gresik continues to strengthen corporate governance, a culture of innovation, and the development of superior human resources. All of these efforts are carried out by prioritizing the principles of occupational safety, environmental sustainability, and good governance as the foundation of the company's operations.
