Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions company and member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding, has once again recorded a proud achievement in the field of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). In the Indonesian Conference & Competition Occupational Safety & Health (ICC-OSH) 2026 event held recently in Yogyakarta, Petrokimia Gresik Group successfully scooped 8 “5 Stars” ratings, the highest award in the competition.
"We sent eight HSE teams to compete in the ICC-OSH 2026 event, two of which came from the company's affiliated entities. Alhamdulillah, all of them managed to get the highest rating. Petrokimia Gresik Group is committed to implementing HSE principles in a disciplined and innovative manner," said the President Director of Petrokimia Gresik, Daconi Khotob, in Gresik, Tuesday (26/5/2026).
The innovation teams from Petrokimia Gresik that successfully achieved the "5 Stars" rating were the Prospace, Phase, Glorious, Concrete, Shield, and Fly Teams. Meanwhile, the two company affiliate teams that also won similar awards were SS Crest from PT Aneka Jasa Grhadika and SI Pintar from Petro Graha Medika. The eight innovation teams managed to be the best after competing with more than 50 teams from 34 companies across Indonesia.
Daconi added that this achievement also serves as motivation for all company personnel to continue generating innovations in the implementation of HSE.
Various innovations presented in the competition focused on strengthening HSE implementation and increasing the company's operational reliability. These innovations include the optimization of operational processes, strengthening of work systems, increasing the effectiveness of environmental management, as well as various other sustainable developments to support excellent, reliable, and sustainable company operations.
He further emphasized that HSE discipline is no longer just an obligation. For Petrokimia Gresik, the implementation of HSE has become a necessity as one of the company's strategies in realizing operational sustainability.
"This award is a bonus. Our main goal is to improve safety in the work environment, thereby providing protection for the workforce while maintaining the company's operational sustainability to support national food security," Daconi stated.
ICC-OSH is a prestigious Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) conference and competition event in Indonesia that brings together professionals, academics, and corporations to collaborate and demonstrate innovations in the field of OSH.
