At the start of Ramadan 1447 H, Petrokimia Gresik distributed operational assistance to 146 places of worship and social institutions for more solemn and comfortable worship.

To kick off Ramadan 1447 H, Petrokimia Gresik, an Agroindustrial Solutions company and a member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding company, provided operational assistance to 146 mosques, prayer rooms, Islamic boarding schools (Ponpes), and orphanages in the company's vicinity. The aid, worth Rp723.5 million, was distributed on the first day of Ramadan in Gresik, Thursday (February 19, 2026), to support more devout and comfortable worship.

Petrokimia Gresik President Director Daconi Khotob, after the symbolic handover of the aid, stated that this assistance is part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) and is consistently distributed every Ramadan. He hopes this operational support will help ensure that religious observances, such as Tarawih, Quran recitation, and congregational prayers, are carried out devoutly and with full reverence.

"We recognize that activities at places of worship, both mosques and prayer rooms, including Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and orphanages, have increased during this fasting month. Therefore, Petrokimia Gresik has taken the initiative to provide operational funds so that worshippers can focus on their worship, allowing Ramadan to proceed smoothly and with blessings," said Daconi.

The assistance was provided to 17 mosques and 80 prayer rooms (musala) near the company's operations, including in Roomo Village, Karangpoh Subdistrict, Karangturi, Kroman, Lumpur, Ngipik, Sukorame, Tlogoojok, and Sukodono Subdistrict. Each mosque received Rp 7.5 million and each prayer room Rp 5 million. Assistance was also distributed to 21 Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and 28 orphanages, each amounting to Rp 4 million.

"In addition to providing assistance, through the Ramadan Safari program, we will also take turns participating in iftar activities and congregational tarawih prayers at mosques around the company. We're not just providing material assistance; we're also directly present to accompany the community in observing Ramadan prayers around the company," concluded Daconi.

He added that this assistance also serves as the company's expression of gratitude for the community's support and prayers for Petrokimia Gresik, enabling the company to fulfill its government mandate of meeting the fertilizer needs of millions of farmers throughout Indonesia. This support is also part of a joint effort to achieve national food self-sufficiency.

Meanwhile, Didi, a representative of the Nurul Huda Mosque in Karangturi Village, expressed his gratitude for the operational assistance provided by Petrokimia Gresik. With this support, the mosque's management can organize more festive Ramadan activities and allow the congregation to worship more comfortably.
