PT Petrokimia Gresik won 19 awards, the seventh were achieved from innovation group of subsidiaries company such as Petrosida Gresik, K3PG, and PT Aneka Jasa Ghradika (AJG) in XXIII National Quality & Productivity Meeting (TKMPN). An event to show up the ability and the success of multi-national companies and SOEs, in managing the quality and productivity of company, individually or in a group with various approaching management system was held by PT Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM) cooperated with Indonesian Quality & Productivity Management Association (AMMPI). This event also supported by Indonesia Ministry of Manpower, and Asian Productivity Organization (APO).
TKMPN XXIII took a theme “With the Spirit of Innovation We Improve the Quality and Productivity in Supporting Industry 4,0 Era”, held in Solo, Central Java (18-22/11/2019). The participations of TKMPN XXIII were from 172 companies, divided in 419 presenters, with total participants were more than 1.700 people. In this occasion, Petrokimia Gresik sent 8 (eight) internal groups, and 5 (five) groups from external (subsidiaries company), and succeed achieve 3 (three) Diamonds, 8 (eight) Platinum, 2 (two) Best Presentation, 1 (one) Most Favorite, and 3 (three) Best Performance (shown at table). Beside that, Petrokimia Gresik also sent 3 (three) judges, they were Catur Priyatmojo, Iwan Setiyawan, and Agus S. Umartono.
President Director of PT Petrokimia Gresik, Rahmad Pribadi conveyed that this achievement was one of company real prove in running business transformation through innovation to realize target become market leader and dominant player in agroindustry sector.
“Innovation is more than culture and company value of Petrokimia Gresik, but also become the DNA of the company. Therefore, the Management support all employee to show their best through competition like this,” said Rahmad Pribadi.
According to the President Director, the participation of Petrokimia Gresik in this innovation competition gave good impact in supporting company business transformation program, innovation that had been done by Petrokimia Gresik also got acknowledgement from stakeholder, and expected could give contribution for sector industry in Indonesia and International.
