PG Distributes a Working Capital Loan Rp7,246 Billion

PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) distributes a working capital loan Rp7,246 Billion to 53 partners (MB) with total 300 peoples. The working capital loan was distributed to partners in Gresik, Lamongan, Bojonegoro, Mojokerto, Jombang, Nganjuk, Magetan, Tuban, Malang, Blitar, and Ponorogo. The signing of working capital loans between PG and the Partners in the industrial, trade, agriculture, livestock, plantation, and fishery business took place at Wisma Kebomas PG (09/25/2019).

The distribution of working capital loans is one of PG's obligations in implementing the Partnership and Community Development Program in accordance with the prevailing SOEs Minister Regulation (Permen). As subsidiary company of PT Pupuk Indonesia (persero), PG consistently distributes working capital loans to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in various business fields. Other than that, PG also provides guidance in the form of training and education as well as promotions and exhibitions, so that the MB business can run well, develop, and become independent.

Manager of PG CSR, Lukman Harun said that the distribution of working capital loans for the Partnership Program is PG's contribution to improve the community's economy, especially for the fostered partners.

"We hope that the fostered partners can make the best use of this working capital loan, in accordance with its purpose, which is to improve and develop their respective businesses," he said.

Meanwhile, the Manager of Product Development Sales (P3), Arief Wahyutomo, explained that in order to support the Government's program in realizing National Food Security, PG is now transforming into an Agro-Industry Solutions company.
