PG IS TRIUMPHANT ONCE MORE IN ASIA PACIFIC LEVEL OF COMPETITION

PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) has done it again in establishing itself to be one of the best in Asia Pacific regional level of competition, Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2017. On April 19, 2017 the winners of every category in the Stevie Awards were announced. More than 50 executives from all over the world participated in judging all entries and decided the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners. Participating for the second time, PG was able to win 30 awards in total which consists of 7 Golds, 10 Silvers, and 13 Bronzes. Those achievements were better than last year’s with 12 awards in total.

Gold Awards for PG this year consist of:

  1. Innovative Management in Manufacturing for PG President Director, Nugroho Christijanto for his achievements in the field of organizational management, brand leadership, financial management, hiring & employee development, and leadership development;
  2. Innovation in Technology Management, Planning & Implementation for PG successful Information Technology System development;
  3. Innovation in Industrial Design for PG multiple innovations in energy conservation;
  4. Innovation in Community Relations or Public Service Communications PG successful CSR program that tremendously support the world of education;
  5. Innovation in Internal (Corporate) Events for PG successful 30th Innovation Convention (KIPG XXX);
  6. Innovation in Paid Media Planning & Management for the successful Petrokimia Media Awards program;
  7. Most Innovative Communications Team of the Year for the achievement and innovation of Management Analysis & Report Division in Accounting Department.

For all its achievements, PG this year is in second position in awards tally. Gold award winners this year include Amobee (USA), Cisco Systems (Australia and India), the Hong Kong Tourism Board (China), Shopping Center Management Corporation (Philippines), TBM Co., Ltd. (Japan), Telkom Indonesia (Indonesia), and PT Angkasa Pura II (Indonesia). The number of participants this year increased from last year to more than 700 corporations in 22 nations over the Asia Pacific region. The competition is the only awards program to recognize innovation in business throughout the entire Asia Pacific region.
The Awards banquet will be held in Tokyo, Japan on Friday, June 2, 2017. The banquet was previously held in Sydney, Australia. “We congratulate the winners of the innovation Stevies and look forward to celebrating their achievements with them in Tokyo on June 2,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards.
