PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) achieved Company Performance Rating Assessment Program in Environmental Management (Proper) Green Award the period 2018-2019 from Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). The award was handed over by Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK), Siti Nurbaya to the President Director of PT Petrokimia Gresik, Rahmad Pribadi in Indonesia Vice President Palace, Jakarta (08/01/2020).
Proper is Company Performance Rating Assessment Program in Environment Management which held by Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). The purpose of this program is to support the company’s regulation in environment management through incentive instrument.
In addition to the assessment of regulatory compliance, an assessment is also carried out for knowing how company adds value to the conservation of natural resources, energy conservation and community development.
Green Proper achieved was a prove that environment management and production activities in PT Petrokimia Gresik already run well and efficient, beyond the compliance through the implementation of Environment Management System, human resources utilization, and can provide benefits to community empowerment through Community Development activities.
