KRPG Becomes General Champion in The National Championship Jatim Open 2019

Swimming Club Petrokimia Gresik (KRPG) became the First General Champion Swimming National Championship (Kejurnas) throughout Indonesia, Jatim Open 2019. The National Championship which was held at Swimming Pool of GOR Sidoarjo (25-27/10/2019), KRPG achieved 4574,5 points, highest from other group rank in the top five.

Jatim Open 2019 was held by Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism (Disporapar) Sidoarjo cooperated with Indonesia Swimming Association (PRSI) East Java. This National Championship also as a round of National Sports Week (PON) XX prequalification that would be held in Papua on 2020. Swimming National Championship Jatim Open 2019 was followed by 122 swimming clubs from 10 provinces, with total athlete were 1.508, 870 men, and 638 women.

Manager of KRPG, Dudy Priharyadi said, KRPG in this prestigious event strengthened 75 athletes in 6 age groups (KU) of men and women, and all are participated on all categories such as individual, relay, and mix.

KRPG team under coach of Candra Fitrianto, Andri Aritianto, Nikmatul Aini and friends beside as the first Champion, also achieved Best Swimmer from age group of Senior Men was Nanda Wahyu Jendro, and Best Swimmer from Junior Women was Elsa Anasyia.

The success of KRPG is inseparable from the company's commitment in conducting sports coaching in order to support the development of sports in the country.
