Innovation of Petrokimia Gresik Group Won 22 Awards of TKMPN 2020

There were 20 Innovations of Petrokimia Gresik Group perform in “Temu Karya Mutu & Produktivitas Nasional” (TKMPN) XXIV and International Quality & Production Convention (IQPC) 2020 has made an exciting achievement. The innovations which were from various department and subsidiary company of Petrokimia Gresik, also the subsidiary company below Petrokimia Gresik foundation were collecting 22 prestigious awards (as seen on table).

TKMPN is a showcase for the skills and successes of national private companies and SOEs, Government institution, cooperation, universities and non-profit organizations in managing the quality and productivity of companies, both individually and in groups with various management system approaches.

This National annual event is held in cooperation with AMMPI (Indonesian Quality & Productivity Management Association/IQPMA) with PT Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM), also supported by Ministry of Manpower, Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO), and Asian Productivity Organization (APO).

According to head of AMMPI, Suradi, this event could be a medium for carious knowledge and experience in increasing quality, productivity, and innovation. Therefore, this activity has important meaning in giving the successful of Indonesia development in era of industry disruption 4.0.

To cut off the contagion of Covid-19, the 24^th TKMPN was carried out virtually on 16-18 November 2020. The opening of TKMPN XXIV and IQPC 2020 was done by Director of Productivity Development Ministry of Manpower, Fachrurozi in Jakarta (17/11/2020). This forum was followed by 603 participations that divided into 183 presentation team represented 61 companies.

Fachrurozi appealed that developing competency and skills of Human Resources are important to do, because Human Resources is one of vanguard for a nation to compete with others.

For Petrokimia Gresik, Human Resources is the most important assets that their competency is must be developed and increased. One of them is through innovation activities that involve all employees.
