The top event of commemorating the 18thAnniversary of Wife Association of Petrokimia Gresik Employees (PIKPG) was holding in Petrokimia Gresik Tri Dharma Building, Gresik, Thursday (7/11/19).
PIKPG Chairperson, Kuntari Laksmitadewi Wahyuningdyah in her speech explained that the series of PIKPG Anniversary was filled with activities that “kekinian” or famous and needed in this era, it can accommodate the aspiration of PIKPG member especially the millennial. The activities were PIKPG uniform design competition, bazaar, seminar of “Merencanakan Pemasaran Digital serta Kisah Sukses dan Tips Wirausaha Wanita” by Prisa Kondora from Womenwill – Google Indonesia.
PIKPG also held an educative activity entitled “Cerdas Berplastik” for society in Balai Kelurahan Lumpur, social services and gave groceries packages for cleaning staff in the PG office housing complex.
“PIKPG commits to play active role in improving the social care. Besides the social service, routinely we give foster care assistance, Support for orphans, and other social assistances,” explained Tata, the nickname of Kuntari Laksmitadewi Wahyuningdiyah who also served as the Chairperson of the State-owned enterprises CEO’s Wife Association (IIP) of East Java.
“Accordance with our vision, as an independent social organization, we want to give the best for environment. Therefore, the event series of this anniversary focus on assistance and education for surrounding society, competition and seminar to improve the independency of the member,” said Tata.
President Director of Petrokimia Gresik as the advisor of PIKPG, Rahmad Pribadi said that PIKPG is an inseparable part of PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG). The regeneration process in PG which caused by the retire employees would affect to the composition of PIKPG member. Dominated with millennial in organization, it needs a special concern which appropriate with the character.
“PIKPG must do innovation and improvisation in arranging program and activities, and also choose the right approaching method to attract millennial member actively join the organization,” said the President Director.
In this moment, Rahmad Pribadi hope for PIKPG keep develop being an organization which can empowering their members and succeeded play their role as a wife who can be a partner and motivator for her husband. Role as a mother, that would bring the sons and daughter become the generation of future leader, and also a role as society, who can contribute in realizing good life.
In line with the theme of the 18thPIKPG Anniversary, “Dengan Semangat Milenial Bersinergi Untuk Mandiri”, The President Director gave an advise to millennial member to actively participate in PIKPG activities to create a good synergy to reach vision and mission of organization.
